Idea counts, better bulk moderation, and a smoother posting experience
A batch of board and feedback-form upgrades just went live — several of them straight from ideas you posted here.
Idea counts on your boards
The board admin view now shows exactly how many ideas a board holds, right on the Ideas tab — and a separate counter for posts flagged as spam. Large boards abbreviate neatly (1.2k) with the exact number on hover.
Bulk actions, unclamped
"Select page" now selects everything you've loaded — up to 500 posts at once — instead of stopping at 50. Changing status or marking spam applies to the whole selection in one go, and both counters update instantly. Bulk delete keeps a deliberate 50-post safety limit.
A smoother way to post ideas
Visitors posting without an account now see a "Posting as" card with their remembered name and email — and a "Not you?" link to change it. If they decide to sign in mid-post, their draft and email carry over instead of being lost. Submissions are noticeably faster, too.
Longer email previews
New-idea notification emails now include roughly twice as much of the idea's text, so you can judge a request without opening it.
Fixes
- CSV exports now open correctly in Excel for Chinese and other non-Latin text.
- Links inside changelog entries open in a new tab, so readers keep their place.
- Saving spam settings now confirms properly instead of appearing to do nothing.

New Feature: Ability to Reorder Boards Now Available!

We're excited to announce a new feature that will give you more control and flexibility within FeedBear. You can now reorder boards to your liking, making it easier to prioritize and access the most important ones first.
Anonymous ideas
Improved Zapier App Login Process
Make Ideas Private (Visible Only to Admins)
Once enabled, the post will be hidden from regular users, ensuring that only admins with the right permissions can access it. Even the person who posted the idea won't be able to access it anymore.
You can now quickly remove an idea from public view (or from users in a private project), while keeping it accessible internally for your own team (yourself and other admin users).
Posts made private are now visibly marked by an icon wherever they are visible (feedback boards, roadmap or search results). You'll see them as an admin, but not your users.

Now you can add a "noindex" meta tag to your pages
<meta name="robots" content="noindex">
Hide "Not Now" Posts on Feedback Boards
We understand that sometimes ideas need to be put on hold or parked to be revisited later, and it's essential to manage expectations. From now on, your users won't receive any notifications when an idea is marked as "Not Now."
Custom Code for Google Analytics Support
You'll find this new feature under Project Settings / Custom Code - which also includes support for Custom CSS, to customize the look and feel of your project.

AI-powered replies to ideas

To give it a try, just click on the "Reply using AI" button in the comments section.

AI-powered Changelog Generator
That's why we've developed a solution that allows admins to create new changelog entries in no time, based on the content of ideas already added to a board.
Our goal is to make it easier for you to keep your customers up to date with your product's latest developments, and we hope this new feature will help you achieve that.
To give it a try, click on "Write with AI" from the changelog editor. Or notice how FeedBear drafts a new changelog entry automatically whenever you change status to "Done" for any idea on your board.

Ideas Moderation
From the board settings, you can assign the "Not set" status for all new ideas and then hide that status from users, so only admins will be able to see them.
This is extremely useful for those that want to review the ideas provided by users before making them visible on the boards.

UX and performance update
As FeedBear's features grew with our customers' needs, the navigation and other action elements became scattered through the workspace. To name a few problems – the search button was appearing only on certain pages, navbar items changed based on the current page. On the engineering side, there were many unnecessary or lazily used libraries that contributed to slow page loads.
Summary of the changes
- Navigation: Persistent search bar
- Navigation: All items in one row, until they fit
- Navigation: Items are the same on every page (duh!)
- Navigation: Added breadcrumbs to pages on depth level 2 and more
- Navigation: Separated project switch from the user menu
- Roadmap: Added feedback boards on the project homepage. This eliminates the previous "Where does your feedback fit the best?" page. Users can now jump directly to their board of interest.
- Boards: Improved filter/sort bar, moved tags filter next to the others
- Posts: URLs now contain a simplified version of the title. When the title changes, the URL also changes, but the old URLs keep working (redirecting to the current one). Old URLs with the ID still work.
- Posts: Attachments can now be added by drag&drop or pasted from the clipboard
- Posts: Attachments can now be added to the comments
- Posts: Attachments show as a preview instead of the file name
- Settings: Added email notification preferences to Personal settings
- Changelog: Improved scheduling/saving as draft/publishing workflow
- Changelog: Added default label color swatches in addition to the custom picker
- Overall visual cleanup: Unified spacing, font sizes, colors, buttons, etc.
Feedback widget
Notable features:
👀 Duplicate prevention: existing posts are suggested as people write the title
🎨 Color customization: respects your selected accent color
👉 Hook the widget popup to any element of your choosing
